The Clandestine Dinner Series is truly at the heart of Stag and is a continuation of our supper club beginnings. The CDS is based on the simple promise to through a multi-layered dinner party to be a feast for all the senses. Starting with a great menu devised by Chefs Jordan Grosser and Ted Fleury the meal sets the stage for great conversations and new friendships to be forged. These dinner parties are also a chance for Stag to work with some of the Bay Areas finest artisans and artists. From talented mixologists to street artists like Reyes and musicians like Aloe Blacc you never know who might drop in or where the night will take you. Our largest event to date was Mission Battleship which was a first of its’ kind foodie-concert on top of the Liberty Ship SS Jeremiah O’Brien. Reggie Watts, Not Tom Cruise and the Bayonics highlighted the entertainment as we paid homage to San Francisco’s maritime heritage. 500 guests dined on gourmet mess hall cuisine by the Stags and other local chefs including Danny Bowien. We’ve hosted these events at historic mansions, art galleries, shooting ranges as well as urban and rural wineries. Stag launched our first Clandestine Dinner in Los Angeles this past winter. This year’s featured dinner’s have included Scribe Winery, Swanson Winery, Heath Ceramics, Almanac Beer Company and several others. These events are truly a unique way to interact with diners as well as the artisans that the Bay Area food community has grown to love.
We promote these dinners to our mailing list so the best way to stay in tune is to sign up!
