The Karaage Kid at Cerf Club

When Stag first launched our wine bar and event space, Cerf Club, we wanted to provide a platform and vibe similar to the welcoming spaces that helped launch the underground food scene as an incubator that Stag emerged from. Returning the favor to the new era of talent in the San Francisco dining scene, Cerf Club played that role for cookbook release events, holiday markets, visiting chef pop-ups, winery release parties and other community focused events. Chef Rich Lee of Yardbird Hong Kong kicked off this series for several events under the “Karaage Kid” moniker which was a wildly fun and well attended rotating residency. Rich’s team and ours at Stag collaborated on some just flat out deliciousness that we will forever remember as some of the fond moments at Cerf Club.
