Together Again: Stag's 2022 Year in Review
With January 2023 upon us, here at Stag we're looking back on 2022 as the year we finally felt a return to normalcy in our post-pandemic world. We had the opportunity to produce amazing events, to reconnect with longtime clients and industry partners and to build relationships with new ones, and to appreciate what we love about our industry and the Bay Area.
Here are a few highlights from the past year and hope for the year to come:
In September we had the opportunity to partner once again with Chef Christopher Kostow of The Charter Oak to create a one-of-a-kind experience at Saint Joseph's Art Society. Chef Kostow was one of the last guest chefs we had the pleasure of hosting at Cerf Club before it shuttered. The hospitality industry has faced challenge after challenge over the past three years, and it felt so good to come together to serve beautiful food in a beautiful place.
We were excited to invest in the future of San Francisco's downtown with the opening of Thriller Social Club a little over a year ago, and we're proud of the strides made this year toward reactivating the neighborhood. Thriller's private events side really knocked it out of the park: with built-in entertainment and food & beverage offerings, Thriller has been the perfect turnkey solution for our corporate clients seeking to craft dynamic team building experiences. It's been fun to welcome guests into a new environment and to support our growing team.
Worlds collided in the best way in December, when we hosted our dear friends at Chartreuse for an educational experience for Bay Area bar professionals at Live Oak Farm. Cultivated by the farmers that brought you our CSA boxes back in 2020, this regenerative farm is a joyful place to be and we hope this is the first of many special offsites there.
This event was a particularly meaningful way to close out the year, joining our industry colleagues to share a literal farm-to-table meal. Bringing people together is why we started Stag to begin with, and we cannot emphasize enough how good it feels to be able to gather once again.
2022 also brought us a glimpse of new beginnings with the launch a new partner property, the Jenner Inn, and we can't wait for you to see it. We have so many terrific projects to look forward to in 2023, and we hope to have the chance to serve you.
