Cal Neva Hotel: Bringing back the Rat Pack with Leon Bridges, Proper Hotels and Clear As Day @ The Dawn Club
Our friends at Clear As Day called us up for spur of the moment celebration with Proper Hotels to speak to the launch of the hotly anticipated Cal Neva Hotel revival in Lake Tahoe.
The Dawn Club was THEEE perfect place to really capture the vibe that Proper is going for. Steeped in history, the Dawn Club is a gorgeous Downtown San Francisco gathering place where guests can experience delightful cocktails, the finest of whiskies & spirits, lively, boisterous, invigorating music, and a superior level of service. The art deco inspired atmosphere serves to complement that intention with its very own eclectic personality and style.
Many years ago Stag worked with Proper at SF Food Labs which was a temporary retail pop-up during the revitalization of Market Street in the early 2010s that Mayor Ed Lee was spearheading as he courted businesses to be a part of the renascence of San Francisco. SF Food Lab was sponsored by Proper Hotels as a transitional activation before construction began on their epic Market Street property. It was great being reunited with that team for this celebration.
Clear As Day is an LA-Based production company that we have worked with on a variety of activations and celebrations in San Francisco. Our past collaborations have been larger in scale for tech conferences so this was a great opportunity to collaborate on a curated and intimate event. They are a fantastic production partner and would highly recommend them to any of our clients.
The folks at Proper laid out their incredibly thoughtful and creative plans for Cal Neva that were just incredibly impressive. Once built, this hotel will not just be the pinnacle of the Sierra but most likely the high water mark for hotels on the West Coast.
Oh. Leon Bridges too to close down the night. Fitting as his soulful harmonies, timeless style and cool persona really embodies what the Cal-Neva revamp is all about: The Modern Day Rat Pack.
We can’t wait to go this incredible hotel.
Of the thousand or so gigs Stag has worked on over the past 15 years, this one certainly is a stand out.
